With the start of series production of the uEye SCP, the first industrial monitoring camera is now available on the market that offers familiar functions from the consumer and surveillance sectors based on the latest SoC technology. The concept of our “one device solution” simplifies the control of your processes in several ways.
With the release of IDS peak 2.14, even our smallest cameras are now making it big. It supports all uEye cameras in our portfolio, from the uEye XS to the high-end model.
One of our customers in the wood industry reports how easy it can be to get started with quality control using AI. He relies on IDS NXT, our all-in-one system for using smart cameras, to intelligently inspection of glue joints in high-quality parquet flooring.

Market launch of uEye SCP monitoring cameras |
The go-ahead has been given: Our new "stream team" uEye Live is going into series production. Initially, we offer you the uEye SCP camera as a housed version in industry standard format. Thanks to the IMX678 sensor with Sony Starvis 2 technology and an integrated ISP, the 29x29x29 mm camera guarantees top image quality for FullHD video streams even in difficult lighting conditions.
The cameras of the uEye Live series enable monitoring and streaming - either via RTSP protocol and H264 compressed or via HTTP in MJPEG format - as well as event-based recording of video sequences in the camera’s memory. This allows you to keep an eye on everything at all times - whether “looking back” or “live”.
The space-saving uEye SLE single-board monitoring camera will be available soon. |

IDS peak Update 2.14: Big update even for the little ones! |
Don't miss the latest updates to version 2.14 of our vision standard-compliant SDK IDS peak.
We start the New Year with a milestone: IDS peak now unites all uEye cameras in one single software solution - from the uEye XS to the high-end industrial camera. The path to standardized and powerful image processing has now been cleared.
It’s all made possible by our uEye Transport Layer (uEye TL), which makes all proven UI camera models to be compatible with USB3 Vision and GigE Vision. This means maximum flexibility and access to the advanced features of our SDK for all new and existing cameras in the factory floor.
Upgrade to IDS peak 2.14 today and discover the latest software features with the IDS Cockpit, which has been extended by many languages - even with your existing UI cameras! |

Intelligent quality inspection of glued joints in the wood industry |
It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Its natural grain and color tones add vibrancy and character to a room. We are talking about classic wood flooring - usually parquet and optionally with a click system for easy installation. Scheucher Holzindustrie GmbH, based in Mettersdorf, Austria, has been producing high-quality parquet flooring for four generations and combines tradition with modernity in its production. To inspect the glue joints of its multilayer parquet, the company relies on image processing with artificial intelligence, or more precisely on IDS NXT, our all-in-one system for the use of intelligent cameras. |
